Product Description:
The E-04 is a 406 / 121.5 Mhz ELT and is FAA TSO approved for install in general aviation aircraft. This ELT is a sold as a complete kit including antenna, panel remote, audible buzzer, antenna, and cables. For faster search acquisition and a smaller search radius, the ELT can accept an external GPS input from SkyView HDX or AF-5/6000 EFIS systems.
Main ELT lithium battery back is good for five years.
ELT remote requires Duracell 28L battery (not included).
ELT warning buzzer requires CR2 battery (not included).
Compatibility
- GPS input is compatible with AF-5/6000 or SkyView HDX displays and any attached GPS.
- GPS input is not available for single AF-5/6000 systems with ACM and with PS Engineering remote audio panel. In such applications, GPS can be provided from a dedicated GPS capable of NMEA 0183 9600 baud output, or panel can be upgraded to a dual AF-5/6000 system at a future date, allowing GPS input to ELT at such time.
