Product Description:
This is a left + right pair for ribs that can be added to an RV-14 build to create additional mounting locations for remote modules behind the instrument panel. These ribs span from the cutout in the instrument sub-panel for a map-box, forward to the firewall.
The ribs are pre-punched for a certain component configuration, but there are a number of alternate methods that a builder could use.
Compatibility
- These ribs are highly recommended with an AF-5000/6000 panel, if the remote audio panel is being used. The remote audio panel is meant to be mounted at the bottom of these ribs.
- A TCW IBBS 6ah or 3ah (Used with AF-5000/6000 panels) can also be mounted on these ribs, above the audio panel.
- SV-XPDR-261/262 can be mounted on these ribs, above the audio panel.
